On March 28, PRCHN Associate Director Erika Trapl, PhD, provided Cleveland City Council with an update on the tobacco/clean air group Breathe Free CLE. Dr. Trapl was one of several researchers who provided expert testimony to City Council regarding Tobacco 21 legislation, which restricts the sale of tobacco products to those age 21 and over. Council approved the legislation, which went into effect on April 13. Read more about Dr. Trapl’s work on this issue in the December 2015 issue of the PRCHN Connection.
