Publications and Presentations
Jones SD, Thomas A, Trapl ES, Borawski EA.  2017. Environmental Influence on Diet and Diet Quality of Overweight and Obese Urban Youth.  ObesityWeek, Washington, DC, October 31.
Associate Director Darcy Freedman, PhD, Acting Director Erika Trapl, PhD, Deputy Director Suzanne Johnson, and NOCA Chair Najah Muhammad attended the PRC Network Meeting in Atlanta, GA. This annual meeting allows all of the 26 Prevention Research Centers in the CDC national network to share research and methods. The theme of this year's meeting was "Translating research into practice."

Local media have been writing about PRCHN studies and partners:

Edible Cleveland featured the FreshLink study and how it is creating a model to increase access/use of farmers' markets (& increase fresh produce consumption) in under-served areas.

Edible Cleveland also covered the recent Veggie U benefit. The PRCHN is pleased to  be helping Veggie U evaluate their great program.

Fresh Water Cleveland profiled Burten Bell Carr Development (BBC), which is making things grow in the Kinsman neighborhood (literally and figuratively). BBC's Executive Director is NOCA Emeritus member Tim Tramble.
