National Snapshot of Public Health Preparedness Report
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) Office of Public Health Preparedness and Response has published the 2017 National Snapshot of Public Health Preparedness, an annual report demonstrating how federal investments during 2015 and 2016 enhanced the nation’s ability to respond to public health threats and emergencies.
It is the most recent annual report where the CDC presents activities that occurred during 2015 and 2016. The report spotlights select examples of work that help inform the CDC's actions and investments going forward. The 2017 report does not include the Public Health Emergency Program (PHEP) state fact sheets in the body of the report.
